Eqolux for Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot
The Eqolux plugin connects your Eqolux account to Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot. You ask questions about your purchasing in plain language — your biggest suppliers, how spend evolves, which prices went up, where you could save — and the assistant answers from your own Eqolux data, with links back to the products, documents and suppliers in Eqolux.
What you need
- An Eqolux account.
- A Claude or ChatGPT account. Which plans can install plugins and connectors depends on Anthropic and OpenAI.
Connect it
Claude. In Claude, open Customize → Plugins, search for Eqolux and add it, then connect the Eqolux connector from the plugin and sign in with your Eqolux account. You can also add the connector on its own: Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the URL https://mcp.eqolux.com/mcp.
ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for Eqolux, install it and sign in with your Eqolux account when ChatGPT asks.
Microsoft 365 Copilot. Your Microsoft 365 administrator first allows the Eqolux agent (Microsoft 365 admin center, Agents). Then, in Copilot Chat, Teams or the Microsoft 365 apps, open Agents, choose Eqolux and ask your question. The first time, select Sign in to Eqolux and sign in with your Eqolux account. To sign out, open Chat settings > Agents in Copilot.
Sign-in uses the same Eqolux page as the web app: single sign-on, password or email code, depending on how your account is set up. On Claude Team and Enterprise plans, an owner first adds the connector for the organization.
Ask your first questions
Try, for example:
- “Who were my 10 biggest suppliers over the last 12 months?” — a table of suppliers with their spend, each linked to its page in Eqolux.
- “How did spend evolve month by month in each of my hotels this year?” — one row per establishment, one column per month.
- “Which product prices increased the most in the last 6 months?” — products with their earlier and recent price, the change and the estimated extra cost.
- “Where could I save money on my food purchases?” — products bought at very different prices, with the documents where the lowest and highest prices were paid.
- “Where do my fruits and vegetables come from, and what is their carbon footprint?” — origins and estimated CO2 by category.
If you belong to several organizations in Eqolux, name the one you mean, or the assistant will ask.
What the assistant can see
- The connector only reads data. It cannot create, change or delete anything in Eqolux.
- It sees exactly what your Eqolux account can see: the same organizations, establishments, suppliers, documents and product categories as in the web app.
- Amounts are converted to one currency (EUR by default; ask for another one if you need it). Spend totals match the Eqolux app.
The connector gives the assistant three tools: List organizations (your organizations), Describe the purchasing data (the tables and how amounts are counted) and Query purchasing data (a read-only query on one organization, up to 500 rows).
Data and privacy
To answer, the assistant requests data through the connector and receives the results. Your AI assistant’s provider (Anthropic for Claude, OpenAI for ChatGPT, Microsoft for Microsoft 365 Copilot) processes them under your own agreement with that provider. Eqolux does not receive your conversations; it keeps a technical log of each request for 30 days. Details are in the privacy policy.
Troubleshooting
- “Sign in to Eqolux to use this tool”: connect the Eqolux connector again from your assistant’s connectors or plugins settings.
- “This organization is not one of your organizations”: ask about an organization your Eqolux account belongs to.
- A query takes too long: ask for a shorter period, or one supplier, category or establishment at a time.
- A total differs from what you expected: the assistant counts spend from your invoices and delivery notes, like Eqolux, with credit notes subtracted; ask it which period and filters it used.
